Résumé en langage clair

Spotting Wing Drosophila (SWD) is an invasive insect that has been established in Ontario for over a decade, and is a serious pest of berries and tender fruit. Native natural enemies are not effective in reducing SWD populations. As such, Asian parasitoids are being considered for release in many invaded areas worldwide. An update on the current status and future progress of surveys and planned releases of the parasitic wasp, Ganaspis brasiliensis, will be provided.
