Abstract
Mersea is a high-yielding food grade soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] cultivar with yellow hila and acceptable soymilk and tofu processing quality for foreign and domestic markets. It was developed at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Research Centre, Harrow, Ontario. Mersea is adapted to areas with 3050 or more crop heat units and has a relative maturity of 2.2.
