J'utilise des outils modernes de sélection végétale tels que l'ARNi et CRISPR/Cas9 pour mettre au point des génotypes de luzerne plus performants dans de mauvaises conditions climatiques, en particulier la sécheresse et l'engorgement du sol. J'ai mis au point quelques génotypes prometteurs capables de résister à la sécheresse et à l'engorgement du sol, et je me consacre actuellement à l'élucidation des mécanismes sous-jacents de la tolérance au stress abiotique dans ces génotypes à ARNi et issus de l’édition génomique.
