Résumé en langage clair

Greenhouse microclimate, which is the climate immediately surrounding the crop in a greenhouse, can vary significantly both horizontally and vertically through the greenhouse. Greenhouse microclimate monitoring requires a high density of specialized and expensive sensors, which aren't feasible to implement in a commercial greenhouse. Instead, researchers at Harrow RDC have been working on the development of a microclimate model that can predict the greenhouse microclimate based on measurements of the greenhouse climate, by creating mathematical relations between the two climates. The modelling work builds on previous work at the Harrow RDC, and will be validated against climate data collected in research greenhouses at the Harrow RDC.
