Résumé

Half-high blueberry cultivars from four maturity classes were grown under three mulch types at St. John’s, Newfoundland. The first two years of winter damage to exposed flower buds was moderately severe with Chippewa being the only cultivar to form flowers in a majority of plants. Plastic mulch increased plant numbers with flower formation compared to the other mulch types.
