Fusarium avenaceum is a fungus that cause diseases in cereal crops as well as pulse crops. The natural variation in aggressiveness among isolates of Fusarium avenaceum collected from Canadian pea, lentil and cereal crops are being compared in disease assays carried out on durum wheat, pea and lentil plants.
