Je révise les évaluations des impacts de projets miniers au Canada. Suite à ma révision, je formule des recommandations au Bureau de la Conseillère scientifique en Chef du Canada et à l'Agence d'Évaluation d'Impact du Canada.

Par ailleurs, j'étudie le devenir et la toxicité des métaux et radionucléides dans les environnements aquatiques qui sont exposés aux rejets miniers.  J'étudie aussi le cylce géochimique du sélénium dans les traitements d'eau passifs

Recherche et / ou projets en cours

1- Utilisation de l'ADN environnemental comme outil de suivi des effets des mines sur l'environnement aquatique

2- Toxicite du lithium et radium-226 sur les moules d'eau douces

3- Cycles biogeochimiques du selenium dans les lits d'infiltration
