Recherche dans les domaines suivants : 1) la réactivité des métaux, des composés métalliques et des alliages dans des milieux aqueux à faible teneur ionique pour l'identification et la classification des dangers aquatiques; 2) les facteurs biologiques, chimiques et physiques qui influent sur le sort et la toxicité des métaux dissous et des métaux associés aux particules dans les milieux marins et l’eau fraîche et 3) l'impact du changement climatique sur les activités minières et la mobilité/biodisponibilité des métaux dans les eaux canadiennes.
