Mes intérêts de recherche se concentrent principalement sur l’étude du devenir des contaminants et des stress anthropiques affectant les écosystèmes aquatiques, et leurs interactions avec l’atmosphère et la biosphère. Plus spécifiquement, à l’étude des processus biogéochimiques et le devenir du carbone (C), du mercure (Hg) et des métaux traces en milieu environnemental sous les programmes prioritaires 'Clean Air Regulatory Agenda' (CARA) et  'Climate Change and Air Pollution' (CCAP). Plus spécifiquement, mes projets de recherche actuels portent  ...

*Étude de l’influence du transport et de la déposition du Hg atmosphérique, des bassins versants et du climat sur le devenir du Hg dans les écosystèmes aquatiques.

*Étude de l’impact des changements climatiques et de la fonte du pergélisol sur le transport et le devenir du Hg et des métaux traces dans les écosystèmes aquatiques subarctique et Arctique, et son influence sur la qualité de l’eau potable pour les communautés nordiques.
