Mon travail consiste principalement à soutenir l'aménagement de l'espace marin, y compris le développement de réseaux de zone de protection marine (ZPM) et l'identification de zones écologiquement et biologiquement significatives. Je développe actuellement des ensembles de données spatiales et effectue des analyses pour identifier des zones à haute valeur de conservation. Je suis également impliqué dans les enquêtes vidéo et océanographiques benthiques en cours sur les zones de protection marine existantes et proposées, dont le Mont-sous-marin Bowie (SGaan Kinghlas), le champ hydrothermal Endeavour et le site d'intérêt supérieur nouvellement annoncé dans le Pacifique.
