Jinxing Huang est conseiller principal au Groupe de la technologie de l'énergie renouvelable marine à CanmetÉNERGIE-Ottawa. Jinxing est responsable de la gestion et de la R & D de divers projets d’énergie marine.

Le groupe Technologie des énergies marines renouvelables à CanmetÉNERGIE-Ottawa travaille présentement dans deux domaines principaux:
• Réaliser l’évaluation des ressources en énergie marine renouvelable
• Soutenir la démonstration des technologies de l'énergie marémotrice et de l'énergie hydrolienne de rivière

Contributions à la science au sein du gouvernement du Canada:
• Analyse des coûts associés à la production d’énergie hydrolienne de rivière.
• Analyse numérique réalisée pour déterminer les performances at les caractéristiques de cavitation des turbines hydroliennes
• Contribution à l’élaboration de modèles numériques et de lignes directrices pour la configuration d’un parc de turbines hydroliennes de rivière
