Recherche et / ou projets en cours

Identification et caractérisation des sources de résistance aux champignons responsables du charbon des céréales, de la rouille de l’avoine et de l’ergot du blé.

Développement de marqueurs génétiques de résistance pour appuyer les programmes de sélection.

Étude de la génétique des agents pathogènes, particulièrement la virulence et la race, pour mieux comprendre les populations d’agents pathogènes et fournir des conseils éclairés aux sélectionneurs de végétaux.

Évaluation de la virulence des collections de Puccinia coronata var avenae f. sp. avenae dans l’Ouest canadien.

Évaluation de la résistance aux champignons du charbon et à la rouille couronnée dans l’orge et l’avoine pour contribuer à la mise au point de nouvelles lignées de céréales commerciales.
