Énoncés de recherches/projets

Mes recherches portent sur la résistance aux insecticides, la découverte de biopesticides, les interactions plantes-insectes et l’écologie chimique. Mes recherches récentes ont étudié les effets des métabolites dérivés des plantes sur les insectes nuisibles des cultures maraîchères et des grandes cultures. Mes projets actuels sont axés sur : 1) l’étude des mécanismes de résistance aux pesticides chez les doryphores de la pomme de terre et les tétranyques à deux points, afin d’améliorer la détection de la résistance; et 2) l’utilisation de cultures de couverture pour gérer le ver fil-de-fer et les effets des cultures de couverture sur la biodiversité des invertébrés du sol.
