- Comprendre l'atmosphère urbaine, en particulier les sources et les puits de dioxyde de carbone et les polluants climatiques de courte durée comme le méthane

- Émissions de gaz à effet de serre provenant des activités industrielles du Canada comme la gestion des déchets, l’infrastructure de gaz naturel en amont et en aval, l’extraction de pétrole et de gaz

- Techniques de mesure des gaz à effet de serre atmosphériques, des espèces co-émises et des isotopes du carbone

- Modélisation des gaz à effet de serre atmosphériques à l'échelle locale et régionale ainsi que de la contribution biosphérique aux niveaux locaux de CO2
