Dr. Srinivas Sura

J’étudie les mycotoxines dans toutes les cultures céréalières. Mes recherches visent à trouver des façons de réduire la présence de ces toxines. J’utilise des outils d’analyse de pointe comme des spectromètres de masse pour les détecter, les identifier et les quantifier.
Recherche et / ou projets en cours
Mes recherches, qui appuient le secteur des sciences sur les céréales et les oléagineux, visent à faire face aux menaces que représentent les mycotoxines pour la salubrité des aliments et la sécurité alimentaire, à étudier des moyens efficaces de lutter contre les mycotoxines existantes et nouvelles dans les cultures céréalières, à améliorer la capacité du Canada de fournir des aliments salubres aux Canadiens et à répondre aux normes mondiales de salubrité des aliments liées aux mycotoxines.
