Recherche et / ou projets en cours

Les travaux de recherche menés au sein du laboratoire des symbioses mycorhiziennes visent à améliorer les connaissances sur les microbiomes du sol en général et sur la diversité des champignons mycorhiziens à arbuscules (CMA) en particulier, et à comprendre comment maximiser leurs bénéfices envers les plantes et la fertilité des sols. Afin d'atteindre ces objectifs de recherche, les activités de recherche sont réalisées par les techniciennes d'AAC Dre Lobna Abdellatif et Claudia Banchini, ainsi que le candiat au doctorat Simon Thériault (co-supervision prof. M. Hijri - Université de Montréal). L'équipe s'occupe également de la Collection Canadienne des champignons mycorhiziens arbusculaires (CCCMA). À long terme, ces travaux de recherche visent à soutenir la transition vers une agriculture durable.
