- Génétique des populations d'ours polaires en relation avec la sélection et l'adaptation au changement climatique.
- Effets du changement climatique sur l'écologie des ours polaires et des écosystèmes marins de l'Arctique.
- Évaluation de la santé des populations d'ours polaires (maladies, stress, contaminants, etc.) en réponse aux facteurs de stress environnementaux.
- Surveillance communautaire des écosystèmes marins arctiques à la station de recherche de Pond Inlet d'Environnement et Changement climatique Canada.
Activités professionnelles / intérêts
Membre du groupe de spécialistes de l'ours polaire de l'UICN/SCC.
Conseiller scientifique pour l'accord de gestion de l'ours polaire Inuvialuit/Inupiat.
Membre du groupe de travail sur la science et la surveillance du ministère de l'intérieur des États-Unis pour le plan de gestion de la conservation de l'ours polaire.
