Je m’intéresse à l’impact des changements climatiques sur les écosystèmes planctoniques et sur les cycles biogéochimiques des mers arctiques et subarctiques, ainsi qu’au développement de modèles couplées biophysiques. Je travaille actuellement au développement d’un modèle 3D glace-océan-biogéochimie (NPZD-O2-pH) pour le Golfe du Saint-Laurent et la zone Atlantique pour l’étude de l’impact des forçages anthropiques (développement hydro-électrique, eutrophisation, changements climatiques) et de la variabilité du climat sur la production primaire, sur les mécanismes de formation d’agrégations d’espèces fourragères des grandes baleines (krill), ainsi que sur le développement d’une zone hypoxique et acide dans l’estuaire du Saint-Laurent.
