Recherche sur la dynamique des nutriments dans les systèmes aquatiques

Recherche et / ou projets en cours

Contribuer au mandat d’Environnement et Changement climatique Canada consistant à veiller à la conservation et à la protection des écosystèmes aquatique

· Effets de la charge en nutriments et des espèces envahissantes sur l’écologie des zones littorales de grands lacs

· Rôle des facteurs physiques, chimiques et biologiques dans le contrôle de la biomasse des algues dans les lacs

· Effet des stratégies de gestion des nutriments sur la remise en état des systèmes aquatiques perturbés

· Utilisation d’isotopes stables pour établir le flux des cycles des nutriments dans les lacs et les rivières

Activités professionnelles / intérêts

-Conseils scientifiques et stratégiques en ce qui concerne la dynamique des nutriments dans les écosystèmes aquatiques

- Supervision d’étudiants diplômés et de boursiers de recherches postdoctorales et comités
