Mes projets de recherche actuels comprennent: 

• les facteurs responsables de la mortalité estivale chez les huîtres du Pacifique;
• microplastiques dans les coquillages et leur environnement;
• l'encrassement biologique dans les fermes salmonicoles et ses effets sur la santé du poisson; et
• L’aquaculture d’oursins de mer et ses impacts potentiels sur l’environnement.

Mes interêts de recherche incluent ce qui suit:

  • l’aquaculture des espèces marines invertébrées, comme les ormeaux, les coques, les huîtres, les concombres de mer, et les oursins de mer;
  • l’aquaculture intégrée et multi-trophique;
  • les tuniciers envahissants;
  • les interactions entre les écosystèmes et l’aquaculture;
  • l’écologie des oursins de mer et des ormeaux, et enfin
  • l’établissement et la métamorphose des larves marines invertébrées benthiques, avec une emphase sur les mécanismes biochimiques et physiques de l’induction de la métamorphose.
