‘Moutere’ Red Raspberry.

‘Moutere’ (Fig. 1) is a new floricane-fruiting red raspberry (Rubus idaeus L.) cultivar from The Horticulture and Food Research Institute of New Zealand Limited (HortResearch). ‘Moutere’ produces high yields of attractive large-sized fruit early in the season that are well suited to hand picking and fresh markets. It is resistant to Raspberry Bushy Dwarf Virus (RBDV) and to the common strain of the North American raspberry aphid, Amphorophora agathonica Hottes.
