Field horsetail (Equisetum arvense) management with an herbicide layering strategy in established cranberry field

The herbicide layering application of sulfentrazone as pre-emergence, mesotrione as the first post-emergence and mesotrione tank-mixed with sethoxydim as the post-emergence provided fair to good field horsetail control efficacy until the harvest. No herbicide residue was detected in the berries. In the following spring/early summer, the post-harvest efficacy on field horsetail will be evaluated.
