Abstract
CO447 is a short-season corn (Zea mays L.) inbred line with excellent combining ability. This inbred performed well as a parent with both stiff and non-stiff stalk inbreds. Excellent yields were achieved with the iodent inbred MBS8148 and the stiff-stalk inbred TR2040 at many locations.
