Zhuoheng Chen

Research Scientist

Research of Petroleum Systems and Resources.

Current research and/or projects

I am a globally recognized expert on petroleum resource assessment, applied mathematical geology, and a leader in development of innovative methodology for undiscovered petroleum (conventional and unconventional) resources mapping. I lead and actively participate in a diverse range of national and international, multidisciplinary research projects. My versatility is demonstrated by contributions to a broad range of research programs, including unconventional resource characterization, petroleum resource assessment of conventional and unconventional, methods for gas hydrate resource characterization, groundwater variability as a function of climate change, impact of climate change on groundwater resources, and inventory of groundwater resources.
