Computer support to the MEC (Modèle Environnemental Couplé) project
- MEC is a modernization effort based on the design of modular components with formal APIs that allow a smoother inclusion and/or exchange of subsystem components (e.g., a new dynamical core, a new surface scheme, an added interaction with an ocean model)
- Development and maintenance of scientific applications applied to the processing and visualization of meteorological data (interpolation, compression and distributed processing)
- Documentation of user guides for software developed in the Computer Division
- Computer support to the daily operations of the Computer Division; maintenance of workstations and servers, scientific, office and multimedia applications
