Dr.  Xueming Yang is a research scientist in the AAFC Harrow Research and Development Centre where he studies soil health with special intereste in the relationships between agronomic management practices (tillage, rotation, cover cropping) and soil carbon and nitrogen charateristics and dynamics.

ASC-13 Organic Cluster Activity 4 - Efficacy of two cover crop use in an organic soybean-winter wheat-corn rotation in nitrogen supply and biodiversity maintenance

Evergreen farming in southern Ontario: more effective use of cover crops in rotations involving corn, soybean, or winter wheat

The development of Fourier-transfo​rmation infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) as a tool to assess and identify soil quality under best management practices (BMP’s).
