Field of Expertise: Seismic interpretation, data integration

Current research and/or projects

What is the focus of your research?

My research focuses on the subsurface and marine geology of Northern and Eastern Canada in order to improve the understanding of regional petroleum systems.  My projects involve the interpretation of seismic reflection data, and the integration of geoscientific data in 2-D and 3-D interpretation environments to conduct spatial analyses of geological settings.

What is the significance of your research?

My research contributes to the assessment of energy resources by providing detailed information that enhances the understanding of regional geologic frameworks. By improving our knowledge of petroleum systems, exploration strategies are refined and economic benefits are maximized.
