Current research and/or projects

  • assists in planning, conducting and reporting investigations on the use of remote sensing technology for forest resource monitoring and assessment
  • designs and conducts analyses of remote sensing and forestry data
  • assists in the development of new techniques, methods and processes to delineate and identify individual tree crowns in high spatial resolution images, and
  • managed and developed the Canada’s National Forest Inventory database and reported on Canadian forest inventory statistics from 1980 to 2005.
