Responsible for quality assurance and quality control of salmon commercial catch data
Current research and/or projects
I am a Salmon Stock Assessment Technician. I am responsible for looking after salmon commercial catch data in the Fishery Operations System (FOS). I correspond with fishery managers, contractors and fishermen to ensure the data is accurate and entered in a timely manner. I maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control by checking for errors in current and previous salmon fishing seasons’ data.
