Shannon Simpson

My employment with CanmetENERGY-Ottawa started in 1999 with the Business Office in the role of Web developer and graphic designer. I remained with the Business Office in the capacity of communications and web deployment until 2006.  In the later part of 2006, I joined the Bioenergy group at CanmetENERGY-Ottawa as a Program Officer, focusing on contract and contribution agreement preparation along with handling purchase orders, standing offers and requests for proposals. Other contributions include providing program delivery services and outreach activities in the Bioenergy field.

I am a member of the CanmetENERGY-Ottawa Communications Working Group, which has an emphasis on improving internal and external communications and promoting successes and project news.
