Current research and/or projects

  • develops methods for mapping permanent land-use change from forest to non-forest for input to the CFS carbon budget model and for UNFCCC requirements
  • designs and conducts analyses of remote sensing, inventory and other records with federal, provincial and private partners to estimate rates of deforestation in Canada, and
  • is member of both the Digital Remote Sensing and Carbon Accounting Teams of the Canadian Forest Service.
