Studies the impacts of climate change on forest microclimates, and involved in the development of a landscape level mountainous terrain spatial temporal climate model in conjunction with the Mountain Pine Beetle/Interior Silvicultural Systems in southeastern BC, and the Montane Alternative Silvicultural Systems projects on Vancouver Island.
