Forest Geomatics Research Analyst

Research interests include satellite remote sensing and geomatics applications to forestry with particular emphasis in:

  • Stand inventory mapping
  • Biophysical parameter estimation
  • Natural disturbance assessment

 National team member to the following CFS projects:

  • Improved forest structure and biomass information from remote sensing at regional and national levels
  • Integrating aerial survey and remote sensing for improved monitoring of major insect defoliators
  • Wildland Fire Monitoring, Accounting and Reporting System [Fire-MARS]
