Current research and/or projects
- Conducting research into the production of biomass from short rotation woody crops like willows and poplars
- Incorporating municipal wastewater and biosolids treatment into crop production
- Investigating the potential of using willows for reclamation and phytoremediation of forest landscapes disturbed by industrial activity (i.e. oilsands extraction)
- Also interested in plantation establishment and intensive stand management.
