  • Development of specialized fire management computer products
  • Reception and processing of Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer satellite imagery
  • Application of forest fire weather information in other systems (FireMARS, Drought Monitor)
  • Content development for federal emergency response plans
  • Facilitation of forest fire information flow within NRCan and between NRCan and external agencies
