Patricia Turgeon
Veterinary epidemiologist
As an epidemiologist in the Public Health Risk Sciences Division at the National Microbiology Laboratory, I implement epidemiological projects to identify and assess risk factors associated with zoonotic diseases, as well as better understand their distribution and populations at risk. I also provide support to collaboration with academia on studies aligned with division's plans and priorities.
Current research and/or projects
Ongoing projects provide new epidemiological evidence and inputs to decision makers and policy discussion to improved performance of prevention or response actions targeting infectious diseases in the human-animal-environment interface.
