Mozhdeh is a member of the GeoBase division at Canada Center for Mapping and Earth Observation (CCMEO) in Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). In her current position, she is a scientific advisor on activities related to geospatial artificial intelligence (GeoAI). She is also developing automated techniques for modernizing historical airborne photos and creating value-added analysis-ready products that can assist climate change studies. In addition, she is involved in the development of various solutions for aligining and fusing multi-source multi-modal data, creating high-resolution foundational maps, and analyzing temporal changes of the Canadian landscape using advanced GeoAI approaches. Mozhdeh also leads several initiatives related to the applications of quantum computing technologies in geospatial domain. These initiatives are meant to make CCMEO ready to face the future operational challenges of its current computational technologies by exploring the potentials of quantum computing.
