Current research and/or projects

Conducts geospatial analyses involving geographic information systems, databases, and computer programming to projects including:

  • Development of forest inventory from remote sensing sources
  • Contributions to carbon accounting analyses

 Team member to the following CFS projects:

  • Improved forest structure and biomass information from remote sensing at regional and national levels
  • Wildland Fire Monitoring, Accounting and Reporting System [Fire-MARS]
  • Integrating aerial survey and remote sensing for improved monitoring of major insect defoliators
  • Administrator for NoFC Library of Geographic Data (LOGD)
