Current research and/or projects

Dr. Marianne Marcoux joined the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in 2014 as a research scientist working on marine mammals in the Arctic. Dr. Marcoux's research investigates the diet, acoustics, as well as the spatial and temporal distribution of Arctic whales. Moreover, Dr. Marcoux work quantifies the abundance, age-structure and dynamics of Arctic whale populations. Dr. Marcoux is also interested in applications of network analysis in ecological studies.
