Current research and/or projects

I am currently working as a co-op student in the Earth Sciences Sector of Natural Resources Canada.  For my 4 month co-op term, I will be analyzing satellite data of Canada.  This data allows for the classification of vegetation and tracks it throughout the year.  My goal for the term is to develop a model based on climate conditions to predict when the vegetation begins growing, reaches a maximum, declines from the maximum and when it reaches a minimum.
