I coordinate Canada's annual State of the Ocean Reports. The ongoing reporting cycle presents plain-language science information on one of Canada’s oceans per year; followed by a national report undertaken in the fourth year. As a science communicator and marine scientist, I work closely with graphic designers, writers, scientists and managers to produce clear, engaging ocean science products for Canadian citizens.
