Karina Cooke

My work primarily involves the processing of various streams of groundfish research cruise data and the at sea participation in the collection of biological data on our research vessels and commercial charter boats. I conduct the entry of groundfish age information into GFBio, the Groundfish biological database. I receive data, conduct error checking and assist in quality control. I upload sample data collected by our port samplers, historic and present day research cruise survey data and observer biological data. I also compile documentation of data entry procedures and assist in documentation of databases as well as prepare data for analysis and tables for publication.
