Biologist
As a conservation biologist in the Ocean Management Branch, I work on the implementation of governement's Strategies, Policies and guidelines regarding the conservation of the marine environment. I work on projects such as the protection of the corals and sponges of the St. Lawrence and on the designation of new marine protected areas. I work in close collaboration with my colleagues from the Sciences Branch in order to base my advices on the best scientific knowledge. Hence, I contribute to keeping our oceans healthy and sustainable.
