Mr. John Studens is a fire research technician with the Canadian Forest Service (CFS) at the Great Lakes Forestry Centre in Sault Ste. Marie. Mr. Studens’ primary research interests include the planning and implementation of experiments that concentrate on the characterization of fire behavior. John processes data and helps in their analysis to assist the research team in developing better fire behavior models.
