Johanne Guérin

Current research and/or projects

Johanne Guérin works as a research technician for the marine mammal research team, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, since 1989. Her primary works are related to grey and harp seal diets based on stomach contents. She therefore sorts and identifies to the species otoliths found in seal digestive tracts. She also contributes to the analysis of photographs collected during marine mammal aerial surveys. Additionnally, Mrs Guérin performs parasitology studies on seals.
