Current research and/or projects

  • leads the Forest Resources Division comprised of over forty scientific, professional and tecnhical staff.
  • responsible for National Forest Carbon Monitoring Accounting and Reporting System (NFCMARS); Forest Invasive Alien Species Program; and forest health and natural disturbance research (wildfire and forest insects) in cooperation with other NRCan-CFS Branches, other federal agencies and departments, provinces and territories; and
  • contributes at the national level to implementation of the National Forest Pest Strategy.
