Jian Li

Research Scientist

Current research and/or projects

Biography:

I have extensive experience in focused ion beam (FIB) microscopy, and developed new techniques using FIB microscopes for microstructure characterization. Prior to my current position, I was working as a research scientist in FIBICS Incorporated, a private company focused on semi-conductor failure analysis and device modification. I also developed a patented process to modify semiconductor devices that has copper metallization. I have authored and co-authored more than 120 papers published in peer reviewed journals, conference proceeding and book chapters.
