NPRI Technical Support Officer - Support the National Pollutant Release Inventory in the collection of pollutant release and transfer information from industries in Canada.

Current research and/or projects

Contribute to projects conducted in the Data Collection Section of the Pollution Data Division (PDD), including compliance promotion activities, web page design, development and support of the online reporting system OWNERS (One Window to Environmental Reporting Systems) and consultations with internal and external stakeholders.

Collect information for the National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) and assist in activities such as presenting at information sessions, editing technical documents, and providing technical assistance to reporters.

Member of the OWNERS Team, which is currently involved in the development of a new and improved OWNERS system for reporting.

Involved in NPRI Consultations, including meeting with stakeholders and reviewing the Gazette notice.

Coaching: available to assist others in areas of compliance promotion, specifically, technical document writing, presentations to reporters, reporting cycle activities, using maximizer, liaising with the National Compliance Promotion Team and/or regional CP teams.

Seven years experience in the NPRI, specifically in the areas of compliance promotion, writing/editing technical documents, presenting information to reporters, assisting reporters with issues, and Gazette notice experience

Experience in the automotive and paint industry
