Involved in research on the biological control of Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima) and St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum).

Biological Control of Ailanthus altissima in Canada.

Evaluation of the current status of the historical biocontrol programme on Hypericum perforatum in British Columbia, Canada.

Collaboration with national and international researchers on biocontrol of invasive plants.

South Africa (Agricultural Research Council - Plant Protection Research Institute)

  • Biological control of several subtropical invasive plant species in South Africa, including: Lantana camara, Doxantha unguis-cati, and Tecoma stans.

New Zealand (Auckland University & Manaaki Whenua LandCare Research)

  • Completed my PhD in Biological Science by using a biocontrol agent species as proxy to study processes underpinning the early stages of bio-invasion
