Contributing to Environment Canada's mandate to protect Canadians and their environment from the effects of pollution and waste

  • Manage a team of scientists and technical experts to develop a state-of-the-science air quality prediction system capable of supporting policy and regulatory decisions and enhancing services to Canadians.

Professional activities / interests

  • Fostering strong linkages between the scientific and policy communities to support the delivery of relevant scientific advice to support decision-making
  • Represent the department at the bi-national working group on air quality forecasting research
